Hello I do mention this a lot but I receive many visitors a day from ppc, social media and search engines to my site. A lot of them are just shopping and browsing but not converting. I'd love some feedback from you as well as methods you have used to convert shoppers and leads into buyers. Thanks |

Search engine traffic is a different ball game. This is more dependent on the terms you are targeting to get traffic. Not all traffic is created equal. there are basically 3 types of traffic you can draw to your site there are "lookers" there are "comparers" and there are "Buyers". If you are hitting for the term "Soccer Ball" that would be a looker phrase. if then you are hitting on "Nike Soccer Balls vs Addidas" well then that would be comparing.. then there is buying "Soccer Balls cheap" Understanding HOW your traffic is finding you helps in better positioning your pages.. how to get them from point of entry into the buying section of your site. CRO for many is about getting a page ( landing page ) to convert better. the larger picture larger scale aspects of CRO get into terms of whole site and creating a chain of conversions that lead to a sale. traffic at large and how it is obtained is directly correlated to how you can create better conversions. Until you understand your traffic pattern and the specific needs and wants of that traffic, conversion will be an uphill battle. To avoid a lot of this like I said in the beginning you want to directly shoot paid traffic right to an offer. Be it a gallon of milk or a $4000 SEO package, its all the same. | |

You have to solve a major problem for the visitor. People pay money to solve big problems. This is why keywords like "hair loss cure" or "acne cure" are so competitive, because they make money. People are willing to pay money, sometimes huge sums of money to overcome such issues. On the other hand if the site doesn't solve problems it won't make money.

yeah, know about this problem on my own experience. I can advise you to use picreel’s pop-up with a quick ‘sign in’ form on a landing page. It will help to get some leads to work with. And step-by-step you’ll build the base of loyal customers.

Remarketing is a decent strategy. Remarketing essentially places a cookie in the visitors browser and then shows them an ad for your product/site on other sites they visit. Examples include Adwords remarketing, and facebook remarketing. For Adwords remarketing, folks would visit your site, then end up seeing ads to your site on places like ebays homepage (!) and other cool sites like that. Makes your site look like it has a bigger marketing budget than it likely does. Facebook remarketing essentially shows them ads to your product/site in their facebook feed after they visit you. A lot of folks don't buy the first time they come to your site, and need some nudging. Remarketing helps keep your product/service on peoples minds, and makes it easy for them to come back to you. |

I believe you should focus on 2 things: 1) Making them trust you: adding some badges like "Norton Antivirus Verified", some social proof (like our FB page has .. 10..50..100k likes) .. 2) Adding scarcity to your product pages. You can add a countdown timer: only "X" number of items are left .. and decreasing.. Or "this discount will expire in...". This will boost your sales massivly |

In my opinion, you need to call your shoppers to action. I mean, you can create some targeted pop ups like I did on picreel’s platform. The main idea is “to make an offer they can't refuse” - discount, coupon or free suppor

I agree with a lot of points made on the thread - also I was going to ask what triumphdev just asked here as well, if you can share the site for a deeper look. Also curious if you are tracking user revisits and if users are simply returning over some time - and if you have had the site in operation long enough to build that kind of data. Some info about the overall volume of unique users visiting also I think can provide more insight too. The shopping cart or purchase option on your site is also very important. It would be great to take a look.
