Average Conversion Rate for a 10,000 Visits a Day Sales Page

Greetings,

My goal for 2016 is to build 50 sales pages in niches such as SEO, affiliate marketing, and adsense. I have already put together 20 video courses, 20 eBooks, and 10 audio courses for my sales pages. I am able to drive up to 100,000 keyword targeted visitors per day as I'm going it right now with a few blogs. My question is with an average of 100,000 targeted visitors a day what type of conversion rate can I expect on sales?

Please don't say 100,000 visitors per day isn't possible as I am already doing it with two different blogs. I'd prefer to get input about the CR for a sales page.

Thanks

I don't think you can know that information untill you have some data.
Maybe you can have a look at this Google Adwords conversion rate averages by industry [infographic] - Smart Insights Digital Marketing Advice
I don't think SEO and affiliate marketing conversion rates are there but just to get a general idea.

I've worked in online and offline sales situations unless your closing on the phone 5% is a pretty solid conversion rate.

Conversion rate depends on a lot of factors txaristocrat. The best way to analyse this data is to look at your analytics report. If you have been already driving 100k visitors, most probably you already have a good picture of conversion. Bravo to driving 100k visitors. please also do share how you do that, so we can learn from you as well.

You're looking at doing a sales page a week, do you have a team behind you? If not the tracking, testing, and optimization work can get out of hand very quickly.

2% is a safe number to start with, of course assuming high quality, offer relevant traffic. Brand terms for e-commerce can convert upwards of 3%, which goes to show how important the search/landing page fit is.

No one here can answer that question. It all depends on your content and ad placement. If you just put ads on your site , then your conversions will be much lower than a site where the blog owner uses his/her content to presell products that they are promoting.

Depends on many many variables. The biggest one: the irrational human mind. You can change the color of the payment button and triple the sales. So split testing is crucial especially with 100k daily visitors. Different design elements, different products, different prices. At 0.5% conversion rate you get 500 daily sales. But that's nothing compared to what you can get from 10% optin rate to your email list and marketing through email.

Just as a rule of thumb for conversion rates you want to stick around 1-2%. That's a standard starting point for general traffic. Obviously highly targeted traffic will do better but you can usually only get so much. 1-2% has been a general good starting point for me. I've worked in tons of niches online with 12 years of experience in high volume.

Once I'm at 1-2% I start scaling. As I scale I work on optimizing and increasing the conversion rate through split testing.
