Bermuda Triangle of Ecomm

How are you?

3 months ago when I decided to start ecomm business, I thought it's a piece of cake... It is enough to have a nice store, good prices, great merchandise and a fancy design and I am rich! Lol.

After 3 months, I am dizzy like an airplane who's going up and down in Bermuda triangle.

Why? I learned a lot by social media and post on FCB, Instagram, twitter and Google plus at least 7 times a day.

I have usually 30 to 90 visitors per day. Only one sale.

Last night I've done a shoutout on instagram, 1300 Likes but no sale!

What is your sincere opinion about my shop and what do I have to change or approach differently?

Thanks!

Hi BFX, I know what you mean because I did the same as you many years ago. Success on eCommerce for 90% depends on your paid FB ads and retargeting, and for the rest 10% depends on previous customers who order again.

It's the truth, unless you are selling something so hot and requested that people go crazy about it by word of mouth.

Without paid ads all becomes difficult and it's hard to get sales. You have to experience FB Ads and retargeting and learn the right way. Consider that you will need some testing, so run small amounts of money on around 5 ads and then focus on the best one by deleting the others.

This is what worked for me. Much depends on what you sell, and on many other variables, anyway.

See you soon,
Alessandro

Thanks so so much, Alessandro! I just saw people visiting my shop from Warrior Forum but nobody is saying nothing about the weak points....
I will keep in touch with you because is nobody to help and I feel quite confused and frightened. I heard people spent very much money on Facebook ads and no results. But I will try.
Thanks again.

Hi

Dont buy more ads if you can not convert the free things first If people are liking/ clicking through are they browsing or buying? Change up the link and say "buy now with 56% off", does that work? Keep on testing to see what converts and what doesnt.

As soon as I jumped onto your website I have really no idea where to click next. There is just so much. Check your bounce rate, people might be looking, but not being able to find stuff that they want.

Go to Amazon or Wayfair and see how they set up their extensive catalogs and people are able to find pretty much everything, with all details roughly on that one page.

1- I clicked on the "bedding" for $40 and was sent to a bed sheet thing for $60-90. Then I click on a colour? and it takes me to pictures up and down the page. nice idea, but it was just too much. then I had to hunt for the shopping cart.
2- Get rid of things like: Use: Home, Hotel, Wedding, Hospital, Nursing, Other.
3- it makes me nervous when there is "Special instructions for seller" on the shopping cart. Special instructions would be to send me the item when paid for
4- no way to remove the item from the cart in the checkout line

Hope this helps
All the best.

yes, of course, it helps.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

I did not understand what you meant by "Get rid of things like: Use: Home, Hotel, Wedding, Hospital, Nursing, Other."
If you can explain a little, thanks.
Have a nice sunny day!

When sign up for updates pops up, maybe you can say sign up for 30% discount code. I think that would have more impact than just sign up for updates.
