Favorite Split Testing Tool What's everybody's favorite split testing tool? I was looking at Optimizely but they want $50 per 1000 unique users on their monthly plan these days. I'd blow through that in no time. I've looked into Visual Website Optimizer as well. Are there any others that I should be looking at? This project of mine is for optimizing an e-commerce site for "Add To Cart" conversions. |
Re: Favorite Split Testing Tool I might try this free heat map soon. They have a demo for day/week/month. If the install goes smooth it could be some useful data. |
Re: Favorite Split Testing Tool After giving a try to yukon's heat map tool, remember that most of the advertising tools offer a/b testing options. I mean if you do FB ads, you can split test your ads from the Ad manager. If you are doing email marketing, then Mailchimp will offer you the chance to split test your emails. If you are working on conversions all the conversions tools provide you with split testing stats. |

ClickMagick is a great first stop for business owners wanting to start A/B testing, though ClickMagick web design looks outdated, dont mistake simplicity for an inferior product. I prefer simplicity that can give me great result. ClickMagick interface is highly intuitive, even for newbies. With starter plan of $17, ClickMagick is a very cost-efficient entry point because this is where you can track and optimize all your marketing, all in one place. You may want to check this blog so you can also see a short why I chose Clickmagick to do my A/B split testing Hope this help, jeng cua |
Re: Favorite Split Testing Tool I use Optimizely and HotJar. HotJar if more for heatmaps, visitor recording and stuff like that tho. But for regular split-testing I can recommmend Optimizely. |
Re: Favorite Split Testing Tool For just numbers, I use the analytics built into Leadpages. The only downside is that, as of this writing, they don't have split testing available on their Drag and Drop pages, just the Template pages. SamCart also lets you run an A/B split test on your checkout pages. |
Re: Favorite Split Testing Tool If you're interested in more powerful A/B and multivariate testing capabilities, I recommend Google Optimize (Free: https://www.google.com/analytics/optimize/ ), or (Paid: https://www.convert.com/ ) or (Paid: http://vwo.com ). But this simple free WordPress A/B split testing plugin is an effective tool for testing website landing page versions. The premium version has built-in conversion tracking and automatic statistical confidence calculations. But you can do your own tracking to analyze and compare page performance by using Google Analytics conversion goal tracking (optionally in conjunction with the page value metric). Download the Simple Page Tester WordPress Plugin here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-page-tester/ Bonus Tip: To more easily set up an A/B split test in WordPress, you can use a web page cloning plugin like Duplicate Post to make a copy of an existing "control" page, to use as a test page to set up the variables on: https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicate-post/ |
