Hi there, I am new to the forum. Hopefully there is no thread already exisiting, but i have not been able to find one. How do you suggest to measure no-brainer implementations based on your quarterly goal of CRO-uplift? Context: Of course we are obligated to raise our conversion from quarter to quarter to quarter. Now we have a few upcoming implementations (deleting certain steps of our checkout funnel) where the following problems occur: a) They are no-brainers -> It is very very very unlikely that they have a negative impact on our conversion b) the change has to be triggered on backend side which complicates AB-Testing since our tools do not provide fullstack testing and there is no time to implement and set this AB-test up especially since another big test is running simultaneously. At the moment I am searching for a KPI I can take to measure the success of our quarterly goal. a) Conversion rate of former quarter --> Seasonality causes huge differences in CR for Q2 and Q3; Conversion rate has a high variety from one week to the other b) Conversion rate of former year --> Still seasonality might differ (holidays, ...), CRO inbetween the two measure points is not taking into consideration, Conversion rate has a high variety from one week to the other c) GA Exit rate --> Seems to be relatively stable from week to week, Shortening of the Funnel could result in less frustration and exit rate could be and indicator for CR uplift d)time to conversion --> time inside the funnel should decrease; but 1) hard to measure 2) I do not see how this could indicate a up/downlift in CR I'D be very thankful for input on this problem since I am really struggling with finding a KPI that does not just look good for me and my goal but gives feedback about the REAL status quo regarding my Goal for the quarter. Thank you very much |
