Performing A/B Tests for Bounce Rate - How?
 

Hello warriors,
I have 2 versions of pages on my Wordpress site, one with a summary above the fold, and one with a summary at the bottom of the article.

I would like to test out which of the two receives less bounces.

Anyone have any experience on how to do this?

I normally use Optimizely for A/B tests, but it doesn't support metrics such as Time on Page & Bounce Rate.

I need a solution that will work for most analytics software (I'm not using Google Analytics).

Hi Smoker2,

The obvious choice is Google Analytics with Google Optimize. It's free even though it is much better than most paid solution.

If you are looking for a self hosted solution then you may want to try Piwik.org

I'm using Clicky Analytics which counts bounces a bit differently - any visit lower than 30 seconds is a bounce.

Damn dude...how in the world did I miss Google Optimize. Any particular video you can link me related to getting to know more about G optimize or not needed?
