I have a celebrity blog with around 2000 articles. I am getting 15k + users per month. But, I am struggling with revenue part. I have both google adsense and other content network ads in the blog. I doubt, there is some incompleteness or lacking about the right position for ads in the blog where users can not ignore the ads. Can we, in this context discuss about the adjustment of ad placements? Is there anyone, who has made experiments on ad placements and got better results. Lets discuss.

I think you can try this 5 positions:
1. Below Header
2. In the Sidebar
3. At the top of Sidebar
4. Under the post title
5. In the post’s footer

As much as placement is important it is also the size of the ad. try reading: https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/6002621?hl=en

Keep in mind here I am not really referencing the placement of adword ads as I am using much greater data as a starting point. Google by default has a much greater data set than any of us could ever imagine. So white papers like this are very helpful at the very least at setting a bench mark, that is known to be effective.

yes i have used and still now i am using ads for my website and i am getting great traffic with it. The best place to put your ads is :

• Top bar.
• Sidebar.
• In between the content.

These are the 3 important place where you can place the ads.
