recently i have started a site on my interest. for updating what i like. i will keep updating it. but yes i am targeting making some money with it. is it possible??

The site will probably have a quite general audience so you might try to monetize it either with Google Ad Sense or general CPA offers...

I have similar site and after two month i just made few bucks but try it with google adsense for my site adsense wasnt approved

In online marketing there are so many ways to earn money through the website. Google Adsense, PPC are one of the best sources to improve your business.

Since your audience is general, your best bet is Google Adsense. I know that it is not the greatest paying but it will be the easiest. Also you can try general CPA offers as someone else suggested in this thread.

However, to make at least 1000$ from this, you will need a lot of visitors. At 1-3$/1k visitors, then you need at least 300,000 visitors a month to make 1000$. This means you need 10,000 per day. You have to post good stuff and share it everywhere. Since it is general audience you have a big "market". Depends only on you to make things right, to offer good stuff to your readers so you can stand out from the other 1,000,000 sites doing the same thing.

so thats a bad idea for starting with internet marketing. i got it. i just do that for my personal interest. but i have main intention in earning money. so i think i need to dig more.

any site can make money. But in your case, you're competing with big guns (9gag,...) in general market, not niche one. Maybe you could re-think your niche?

A site like that will only get a few cents per adsense click, but if you really want to pursue something like the example you provided, those few cents shouldn't discourage you.

The money soon stacks up when flocks of people are being sent to your site via social media sites. There was even an article (I'll try find it later) talking about a viral site which was/is generating loads of traffic - along with bags of cash.

Just be careful to do thing LEGIT and ethically. You don't want to be stealing people's content!

I think that there's no such word as "stuffs", really, in this context, as a noun?

"Stuff", in itself, has a plural connotation.

So it looks a very strange name?

You are following the same concept as upworthy, buzzfeed, viral nova, etc.

These sites gained most of their traction from Social Media marketing.

If you are thinking monetisation first, then you will struggle to generate any revenue of significant worth as adsense, etc are cents for a site that is not focused on high revenue converting keywords.

You want to focus on growth initially by looking to convert traffic from social to the site
