Hi,

I have been sending traffic through my funnel and did not see any sales, so I would like to know if I can get some help. I'd like to improve my funnel to get more ROI from my solo ads.

Here is the link www.successwithcath.com

Just unsubscribe after, I just really want to know what you think about my funnel setup.

Thanks a lot!

Catherine Bernier

Hi Cath.

I think you should start by working on your landing page first.

It is not very clear at the moment, i.e.:
What is it?
Who is for?
Why should they care?
Etc.

I will refer you to this example:
appsumo.com/sumome-wordpress/

On their page they include:
A benefit driven headline and sub headline
... get more customers...
... grow your business...
They answer the question "who is it for?" clearly - wordpress site owners
They specify the price - Free
Thy include social proof (case studies) that this has worked before.
Etc.

If you are not very clear upfront about what you offer, to whom and the value it will deliver, even if visitors give you their email address, they may not convert or stick around.

Thanks

Hey Catherine,

For paid traffic, I would deliver the goods first, and then go for the paid offer. It's hard to make a buying decision while holding an unresolved issue in mind. (i.e. Having signed up for something free and not getting it yet).

Make a priority to optimize the first stage of every successful sales funnel: Converting visitors into subscribers.

Hope that helps!

Yeah... I kind of agree with you Felipe. However, it is hard to make a ROI if no paid offer is presented. Maybe I should only do a squeeze for the paid offer?

You tell them that they have *everything* they need to build a list...

Then you offer them a product, coincidentally called 'The Super List'

Why would they buy? They already have everything they need...

Catherine,

Adding time to the equation the equation makes me think that your problem is cash flow, not ROI. If your cost of acquisition is 3.00 per subscriber and you make it over the course of 3 months, you are breaking even. Now, if you need to make 3.00 back fast to reinvest, then is a cash flow problem.

Assuming that's the case, you need: Your own product or partner with someone who will pay you sooner to sustain your campaigns.

My advice: Go for you own product.

What am I going to accomplish when I take action on your page?
What am I getting in return for my email address?

Your page isn't benefit driven.

Who is it for?
Why do they need it?
What is their end goal?

Saying something like "get everything you need to start building that list" isn't compelling enough.

Cathbern, that is a very unique type of squeeze page. I haven't seen anything quite like that in the past. What is your optin rate %?

Hi Cathbern,

You deserve congratulations, because you've taken action, which most folks never do.

I never got past the squeeze page, because your headline isn't giving them a reason to build a list - it simply assumes they already know just how vital that is to direct marketing success.

So I would suggest pointing out that virtually all the folks who make serious money on line have a list. Something along these lines ...

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxx

If you want to make serious money on line then you need to start building a list TODAY ...

... and you can begin minutes from now with this competely free list building powerhouse ...

[A few compelling bullet points here would be good]

And to claim your copy just click the red button on the right

[You’ll have to change the arrow so it's horizontal, pointing to the right.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxx
By the way, that 'If - then' combination in the headline is a very powerful, battle-tested combo.

And note, also, how the urgency builds with the 'TODAY ' in bold italic and then the 'begin minutes from now' reinforces the sense of urgency and also offers instant gratification.

Hope that helps

Warmest regards,

Paul

Hi Catherine, The sales copy is OK but the landing page can be better. CTA button and the form can be used in a better way.

May be you can create multiple versions of the landing page to see which one works best. I registered and the flow looks fine though little confusing but may because I am not the target market

Cheers

Looking at it today, you're still missing a strong call to action.

It's like I see the email optin and I KNOW what needs done next, but there's no call to action telling me to optin.

Also, if you put TODAY in italics, the conversions should go up too. It'll bring more attention to the desire to get immediate results.

After optin, your redirection page feels sleezy. Redirection in Progress makes me feel like you just duped me and now I'm being sent some where else. Something along the Lines of Congratulations on Taking Advantage of these Amazing Offers Today as a headline and then inside the body some text about, your report is on the way, but in the mean time take a look at this amazing offer than helped me when I was new. Something like that seems more genuine, and less like I was just redirected from what you promised.

Are you testing variations with A/B testing yet?

If not, definitely start there so you can dial in EXACTLY what makes people tick, click and buy.

Overall, I'd say you're off to a great start and something to keep in mind is this:

6 months from now, no one remembers what's you said on your optin page or how many pages were in your ebook. They'll remember the way you made them feel.

Good luck, you're on the right path.!
