Exit-Intent Popups for conversion optimization. How many of you are using exit-intent popups for conversion optimization and lead gen? Which services are the best in your opinion? My company uses Bounce Exchange on several sites and it works great. Our email opt-in rate has increased by 200% which is crazy, and the overall conversion is better as well, but it just costs damn too much! We've checked some alternatives but they were nothing like Bounce Exchange. What we are waiting for is OptiMonk because it looks promising, so we already signed up to their list to receive the free beta invitation which will happen in 2 weeks. Besides OptiMonk, we plan to try Picreel. Anyone have experience with them? Thanks. |
Re: Exit-Intent Popups for conversion optimization. Hey hantoren How much are you paying for bounce exchange by the way? I saw some crazy prices on their site from 4K/Month! |
Re: Exit-Intent Popups for conversion optimization. Their prices indeed seem crazy to me... You can probably get the same plugin created for this kind of money, maybe even cheaper, lol! |
Re: Exit-Intent Popups for conversion optimization. How did they use it for your site ?? Like what does it look like? I'm just asking because i want to use it but i haven't seen examples of how its used yet |
Re: Exit-Intent Popups for conversion optimization. Thats exactly the problem I had when I was looking for a solution. I just needed a quick simple popup that uses exit intent without paying thousands for it. So I've developed one for my own needs and made it available to other warriors too :) If you are interested in this, please PM me. I have some review copies left! |
Re: Exit-Intent Popups for conversion optimization. we use 40 Nuggets. way cheaper than BounceExchange and works well. first ever post in Warrior Forum! w00t! |
Re: Exit-Intent Popups for conversion optimization. I have written a lot about exit intent pop-ups here Opt-In Pop-Ups: Are They Any Good? | The Daily Egg |

Thanks  |
Re: Exit-Intent Popups for conversion optimization. Yeah, Bounce Exchange is expensive.. Unless your earning 6 figures, you probably will not be able to use it. You can use OptinMonster. Probably one of most popular optin plugin used. It have exit intent features also. That is great option for average blogger |
Re: Exit-Intent Popups for conversion optimization. Would you guys be interested if I can create one? Its gonna be on monthly subscription and will be priced around $60/month per website, way low than BounceExchange or any other vendor. |
Re: Exit-Intent Popups for conversion optimization. I'm not sure what I'm missing here... why should something with a simple mode of action have a monthly subscription? Can't you do this with optinmonster? Or am I confused :D |

What I mean by this is that an exit pop up may increase conversions, however those extra conversions may be very low quality. This may not be worth annoying your visitors. |
Re: Exit-Intent Popups for conversion optimization. @hantoren OptiMonk has been running for a couple of months now, did you have the chance to try it? Any experiences to share? |
Re: Exit-Intent Popups for conversion optimization. I use Opt-in Monster on my site, and their exit intent functionality got my conversion rate for my toolbox up to 45%! Highly recommended. Much cheaper than bounce exchange, pic reel or exit monitor. And remember - It's key to always test your exit-intent offering too - test the wording, imagery, the call-to-action, and even the free incentive you are offering. Don't just say 'subscribe' or signup for updates - for example, give away a free trial, free mini-course, free ebook or free coupons to what you are offering. |
Re: Exit-Intent Popups for conversion optimization. In my opinion, Catcha Monkey is definitely worth looking at. It cost $70+ per YEAR. Catcha Monkey - Simple Exit Traffic Saver Cool thing is you can even use it on third party site, and override the existing exit popup! ~ Budi T |
Re: Exit-Intent Popups for conversion optimization. POPU.PS - Create, Manage & Measure Popup Windows for Websites has a lot of personalization features for the message so you can fine tune your approach |
Re: Exit-Intent Popups for conversion optimization. OptinMonster's exit intent works fine for me. They're way cheaper than bounceExchange. Other than that, I use Qeryz - but not for gathering emails. More for data to analyze and use to convert. |
Re: Exit-Intent Popups for conversion optimization. If you are looking into services that provide "Exit intent" technology, I would suggest trying MaxTraffic. One huge difference from BounceExchange and some other market leaders is that with MaxTraffic you are the samurai and MaxTraffic provides a sword. In comparison many tools provide "full service" and marketer is not really in charge of their campaigns.. |
Re: Exit-Intent Popups for conversion optimization. I have been playing with icegram as of late. its a wordpress plugin. You can "add-on" the behavior triggers aspect of the plugin for a whopping $7.00 for a single site. Might be worth checking out? hahaha |
Re: Exit-Intent Popups for conversion optimization. very good advice, its incredible how powerful are the addons Quote:

Re: Exit-Intent Popups for conversion optimization. You can always try Optin Architect | The Ultimate List Building App I've used them before, very good service and support |
Re: Exit-Intent Popups for conversion optimization. Exit intent popups are pretty common in most email popup services now. Furthermore, they work. Try SumoMe.com, love the product |
Re: Exit-Intent Popups for conversion optimization. We used to use BE because of good references and high popularity but soon observed that it’s too expensive. Picreel is completely fine and doing the same great job but much cheaper. |
Re: Exit-Intent Popups for conversion optimization. Oh, just found another cool thread concerning this question. People are sharing their experience - http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...-up-boxes.html |
