Sample size is 5000 hops with 15% conversion over three months -- it's now nearing 17% this month. All to my landing page blog. No PPC has been used for traffic. Is this good? Would a PPC campaign work with that level of conversion? |

If its profitable, its always good! I'm sure you can push that higher with some optimization, a landing page, or selling through a list as well! I would totally try PPC ads with that kind of conversion rate!

Yes 15-17% is a terrific conversion rate (unless you are dealing with an opt in page)... A quick question. The 17% conversions that you have achieved this month, have you made any changes to your page to reach this number, or has the content been the same for all 3 months? Also, you can expect conversions from PPC to be higher, but only if you create targeted keyword groups and relevant ad listings. Where is the majority of your traffic coming from now? Search Engines? |

If that's your sales conversion rate then all i can say well done. ![]() If it's for opt ins then it's rather low. If it is indeed for sales, the i suggest you scale straight away and start testing campaigns. |

It all depends on how much money you spent to get those hops and how much money you made from those sales. If you spent $10,000 to get that traffic and only made $5,000 in sales, well that's no good, regardless of what your conversion rate is. Stop focusing on metrics that don't mean a whole lot and make sure you start focusing on the numbers that are vital to the success of any business -- money in versus money out. |
