Please, critique a squeeze page

Hi guys!
I think I'm horrible at this, so need your help.
I send Bing PPC traffic to this page(and others like it):
Insomnia remedies - TOP 5 Quick Fixes!
The PPC side is reasonably optimized (CTRs around and above 15%, QSs are good).

Problem: i have very low sugn up rates. and by "low" i mean single digits :/

Any suggestions as to why and how to improve it?

Thanks!
Alex

I would change the background to something related

A/B testing is your best friend.
Funnel 300+ people into an A/b Test ad use the best and repeat, until you have a good converting landing page.

Or just use lead pages to do the work for you.

First of all, Don't say you're horrible at this. You're doing it and that is something a lot of people don;t do. What I would suggest is to do a conversion test BEFORE spending money on ANY paid traffic source. If you know how well you're squeeze page is converting, you know what to tweek and know when you're ready to throw some money at it.

Now, your SP does indeed need a background that is related to the topic. Find an image of a sleeping woman or man. (who ever suffers most from insomnia)

Also, your headline needs some fixin. Think about how you can grab their intention in less than 5 secs. How do they benefit from signing up with you? It's not because it's free. It helps that's free, but there is a more important benefit you can offer. Think about it. Pm me if you need help or would like me to take another look.
Good luck!

Hi!

Thank you for the advices!

I've selected some backgrounds and I will test them.

As for the headline wording, a major part of it is dictated by the search terms, so changes there could actually lower the response, QSs. But I will see what I can do.

As for spending money... What are my options? I would have to pay others to do any other type of promotion. Even SEO would cost me quite a lot... So... I don't think there's any free option.

I tried Leadpages and had to abandon them because... Well, they are not very convenient, inflexible(design-wise) and, worst of all, didn't integrate well with tracking scripts.

Thanks again!

If you have any suggestion in addition to the above they are very welcome!

It looks ok but I would split test it. Good luck.

You could try targeted FB traffic. Find pages insomniacs "like" and target them.

As for the headline, I'd switch up a couple things to make a "control"

"TOP 5 Natural Insomnia Remedies for Deeper, Refreshing sleep Without Using Dangerous Sleeping Pills"

then as everyone else said, test test test another lander.

Also check out the google display network, I've been able to get some dirt cheap traffic to my landers.

As for free traffic, try making some youtube videos or hangouts explaining the issue and how to solve it.

either that or forget about it. Takes too long for me. I want data NOW lol
