I was searching the archives when I came across this post from Rick (link goes to a post down in the thread shown) last year.

He shows how he created email marketing campaigns in 2012 around Black Friday and Cyber Monday. This is something you could do this year, and now is the time to get it poppin' if you want to approach businesses with this concept.

    How likely is that a beginner will accomplish this? Yeah, I am talking about me.

    I was thinking about trying, buy I lack experience. But, if I do this now, regardless of the outcome, I will get the needed experience to hit a home run next year.

    Besides Rick D., has anyone tried this?
