Automatic date in sales letter

My husband and I are working on our very first sales letter!

I have seen many sales letters where they always have the current date show up right below the headline in the actual sales letter.

Does anyone know what program does that and where I find it? Any specific info I will need to use it?

Thanks so much!

Jeanne

The good thing about using the PHP version -- if your server is able -- is that the date shows up in the browser in plain text -- not a javascript coded page. You don't have to rely on the user's technology to have it work consistently for you.

(That's why PHP is "server-side" technology).

I think it's funny when I see a javascript date -- and adjust my computer's clock to a different year / decade -- and then hit refresh.

You can even adjust it for your local time if you and your website are located in different timezones.

  Thanks
