Success! No Wait. Probs! Ala Al Bundy.
I did a major change on my site and my bounce rate increased BUT I did get my first sale "At FULL price" (was ready to discount in new rewrite.). I was so elated. Ready for the millions to roll in.
Problem is, Pay Pal directs back to my site after the guy's payment and my webserver had probs so he could not download e-book right away. Now he has buyer's remorse.
Ack! I can't win!
But I am not sweating it because I am onto a whole new rewrite after reading "Make Your Words Sell" and have TOTAL confidence I can sell it at my original asking price. I just had the target audience wrong.
What is funny is my target audience is who I have been selling my services to for years (and could sell to in my sleep). I sort of ignored this target in the beginning of my IM and have paid for it in lost time.
Lesson Learned: Learn from your lessons and quickly adjust.
