Recently I have had a couple swipes written for me from folks on Warrior Forum. Both were utter failures as far as clicks go. One was long and the other was real long.

Talking with some friends pitching the same stuff, they are having success with real short swipes. One fellow gave me this advice;
1st sentence - It should imply an idea that you kind of belong to their industry or know their business well to make them feel familiar with you.
2nd sentence - briefly explain why you thought you should contact them (the reason must sound pretty beneficial for them).
3rd sentence - support the 2nd sentence to be even more appealing and create curiosity.
4th sentence - A short call to action to visit your landing page or registration page with a link or pointing to an attached PDF that is a soft pitch to get them to a registration page.

I am trying to get business owners to sign up for free online seminar to learn how to increase their revenues by 100% in less than twelve months.

Any ideas on how to write such a swipe or offers to write it for me? What would it cost to get four sentences written that would drive folks to click AND sign up? I had 23 clicks and not a single sign up yesterday. Not untypical. I got to change this so can anyone help?

    Tim, we gave you tons of advice on your last thread about this exact topic and you never even bothered to respond. That's probably the best place to start...

    Tim,

    Business owners are really busy people. The fact that something is free is not a draw in the slightest for many of them. Will it be worth their time? In addition, is it relevant to them?

    You must approach them with credibility builders - which is a factor not mentioned at all in your outline. What can you tell them that will convince them that your seminar would be a good use of their time? Again, the fact that it's free is not persuasive.

    Generally even short pitches for seminars include bullet points on what you will learn.

      If you aren't connecting what you have to a
      hot problem the biz owner has, recognizes
      and the risk of time wasted by you is seen as real,
      then that's where you look to fix the broken parts.
