Hello...

Well I am a little excited...

What do you guys think of my site... I am in development stage and hoping by this weekend to have it to a level of around 80%.

Should I make changes?
Does it look appealing?
Should I do ad sense?
I am planning a subscription service?
Should get the site 100% then launch?

As finally... after years! I have found to trade profitability and I am not stuck in front the PC all day long!

You people are great and thank you for your input!

Thanks!

  • Why did you have to put blogspot in your domain name?

    • Is that a bad idea?

Ok... it just stuck in head... I liked it... I knew my market was not a micro niche and I will not get on 1st page of google... but I am following my passion... I can monetize it as well.

I was thinking about loads of idea's and SEO, etc and I could not monetize or did not have expertise in those markets.

  • Guess121,

The design is very bland and looks like the WP stock theme. Boring!

First thing that caught my eye . . . "The Pitch"

No one likes to be pitched! Awful headline.

It's not clear, at a glance, what the purpose of your site might be. I figured it out after awhile, but you need to make the purpose crystal clear immediately or you're going to lose your viewers fast.

There is nothing on the site that is "sticky" so your visitors will leave.

    Keep after it . . .

    • Thanks Steve!

I thought I would be to the point!

Do you have an example site that might attract people?

The thing is I don't want it looking like "I MADE $1000 dollars in one trade", or is that what it needs to be?

What Is Forex and How to Make Money with It?

  • In a word: AWFUL

Take my advice. Get a professional in to design it and update it regularly. If you're as good at trading as you make yourself out to be then you can afford it.

In that line of business first impressions matter - a lot. The layout, design and content of your site are all terrible
A tacky, worse than amateurish site like yours will only turn people away, and fast.

Sorry to be so blunt but it needed to be said. First appearances really DO matter

    • No it's fine... I want constructive feedback... so it's cool.

Content... I am working on this... I am not finished, as this is why I have put it here... to be shot at, so I can put it right!

Can you link me a website so I can get an idea by what you mean by a good layout/design?

  • There's barely any content on your site. Why are you already asking for feedback and considering launching? Get a logo, put up some content and then consider launching it.

Also, I've tried using that theme in the past. It looks pretty when it's customized nicely, but it's needlessly complicating to use. You should look into another theme if you're not familiar with web design /development.

    • I am working on content...

      Logo... Right Got you!

Looks - ok need to have a look at changing that...

Did you see my questions of what I am asking?

I don't want to do a whole heap and stuff and it's a waste of time, so that's why I'm asking before I continue.

      Thanks :-)

  • So bad i don't know where to begin.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Be wrong to knock your enthusiasm.

But you need to direct it like a precision laser - not a shotgun blast.

Leave your site alone for a few hours - it'll still be there when you get back - all ready and waiting to be fixed and finished.

Just stop tinkering with it. Leave it!

Try Copy Hackers and Enchanting Marketing.

Both sites are crammed to the rafters with "copy" knowledge.

And you'll say, " Aha, so that's how to do it, now I can write and get results"
