Help With Landing A Job At Agora
I've been learning copywriting for over a year now, reading books, taking courses and writing mock copy. I really don't know how good I am because I haven't put my skills to the test yet on a real marketing piece.
I figured the best way to learn and get better was to try and get an entry level job with a company in the copywriting industry. That way I can learn while I earn.
I did some research and I decided to go with Agora since most of the seasoned copywriters I follow such as Clayton Makepeace recommended them as one of the best place to work as an aspiring copywriter because they're always on the lookout for the next big thing. And to top it all, it's headquartered in Baltimore, which is about 45 minutes from where I live.
I guess my question here is if anyone on here has any personal contact within Agora that they can recommend me to. I've already checked their job board and I've seen a couple opening for entry level copywriters, that give you a chance to work with some experienced copywriters. I could go through the standard process of submitting my resume and hoping I get a call but I know a personal contact will greatly increase my chances of securing an interview.
If anyone can refer me to one of the hiring managers or key decision maker in the company, whatever way you can help me, I will be forever grateful to you.
Thanks,
Abraham
