Hi guys (and gals). Lets say I have a sales page and I want to test various things on it. So I make copy of the page and change some variable in it. i.e. call to action button, headline etc.
A/B split testing sales copies and duplicate content.

Hi guys (and gals).
Lets say I have a sales page and I want to test various things on it. So I make copy of the page and change some variable in it. i.e. call to action button, headline etc.
So theoretically now I have 2 sales pages with 99% same content => not very good for the search engine. Its recognized as duplicate content.
How do you avoid this issue when you have to to A/B testing.
I guess robots.txt with no index and no follow the B page... ? I'm not 100% of it. Can anyone confirm please? Thanks
