Who is your Jimi Henrix of copywriting?

You know when you read copy. And its about something you are not particularly interested in. But it's so brilliantly written you cannot stop reading?

Like the day Jimmi Hendrix walked on stage at Woodstock and played that mental version of the Star Spangled Banner.

And everyone, including several million guitarists, thought who the F*CK is this guy!

Who does this for you with copy. Who is your Jimmy Hendrix of copywriting?

Following up from my original post:

John Carlton, Gary Halbert, Dan Kennedy.

Exceptional, and should never be dismissed.

But frankly, all bit last century?

My question was: Who is knocking your bobby socks off today?

Come on people. This is the only end of the WF that's still worth reading. You can do better than this.
