An Obtuse Question (Perhaps) - Fundraising
I've got solid copywriting experience with big companies and smaller firms, but the copy I'm being asked to write is now hitting a very personal note. A friend's dog (who I spend daily time with while I work - she's sweet and relaxing) needs emergency spinal surgery. Panic at copywriting for a cause.
I'm not at all asking for money from you folks, but I helped her write the fundraising ask on her GoFundMe. We've raised $1000 in the past few hours.
I've felt good about the copy I've produced for major clients in the past - they keep coming back - but I've never written copy where a dog's life is on the line. I'm not confident in my copy after spending the day at the puppy neurologist.

Thanks for your help, and if this is inappropriate for this forum I will delete - not asking for donations, just advice.
Any help in increasing conversion is appreciating, the dog needs her surgery ASAP.
