A lot of copywriters, me included, can emulate a wide range
of styles - if your product has the kind of "meat" in it that
Rempel's stuff does then perhaps the sort of low-key style
of his you respond to is appropriate. It may not be however -
the style of copy should be matched to the awareness and
reading-level of the marketplace.

Some of Jay Abraham's letters, for example, are written
at far above the 6th-grade reading level recommended for
a mass-market product like a fat-loss thing. The reason
is his market is more educated than average, more literate,
and more responsive to high-concept ideas in the copy
itself.

You don't sell a martial arts product by being low-key
or zen about it... you pump-it-up and tell how the buyer
will instantly be kicking ass if he buys your product.

Matching the voice, the product, and the target market
is part of what a good copywriter does. I guess you could
say that's part of the art of doing effective copy.
