Need Content without infringing...

Hello,
I am in the process of launching a new motivational/inspirational quote site. The 1 page site contains 1 quote with a picture in the background. Of course there is an opt in from to list build and Social Media Icons at the bottom.

The user can use arrows to scroll left or right. Scrolling changes the quote on the home page and changes the picture. So the ratio for quotes to pictures is 1:1. As you can see, I will need a lot of pictures.

This might be a silly question but I am much better marketer than I am copywriter. What are my options for stunning cost effective pictures? Is it as simple as istockphoto, depositphoto, etc.... Or is there a way to download or legally use other pics? I appreciate the guidance. Would love the pics to be similar to what NatGeo would post in the travel section. Just an example...
Thank you!
Brian

    • Thank you Yukon. That was helpful. I read the Wiki and did a search for "Fee Public Domain Pictures" and found a few sites.

P.S. I will not be providing or selling the images but just using them to display on my site.
  • Yup, that's the way to go! Although the quality you find there will be nice, you'll run the risk of displaying the same issues that other people purchased. So you'll need to be comfortable with that possibility.

There's a difference between a buyer (OP) using those types of images (istockphoto, depositphoto, etc....) for his own site & a buyer giving away the same images he paid for to his traffic.

      Read the image sites TOS.
