Percentage of projects you turn down?

After discussing a copywriting project, what percentage do you turn down because the product doesn't meet your standards, and what percentage do you refer out because the product is a better fit for someone else?

Almost never. I've created a front end filter that gets rid of the dross before I even talk to them. In my opinion, if you're turning down a lot of projects, you need to rethink your positioning.

Joe, what's your question behind these questions? What are you trying to figure out?

I never turn down an assignment. I do let my clients know in advance how far down the line they will be and let them decide if they want my services or find another writer. Unlike online my offline clients always look a month or two in advance when using freelancers.

Just be honest even if you don't have work at the time.

  • Hi joe golfer

You know that I, like Rick, I do not understand what you want to know exactly?
