We all know there a VSL’s and long form sale letters.
Depending on your opinions and approach, we would normally use a VSL or a long from sales letter to sell a product or service
I have seen a combination of both, where there is a VSL at the top of the page, and the sales letter directly underneath.
But I’ve seen a third option, where you basically do an informal (unscripted) video ‘walkthrough’ of the long form sales letter, where you casually talk about the products major points in the written sale letter.
I suppose it’s a little like one of those video sale letter critiques I’ve seen many copywriters do (Michel Fortin comes to mind)
Has anyone used or tested that as an option to a straight VSL or long form sale letter page?
I'm wondering if the 'casual nature' of the commentary makes it less intimidating and more 'real' to prospects'.
