Probably the BEST product review I've EVER read

I was looking for an electric trimmer on Amazon, and came across this beauty.

No doubt...that's a paid job. But what an electrifying review.

I was grinning from start to finish. Ended up buying the product too.

WAHAHAHAHAHA, "...Like television, and LIONS. Lions are awesome. What do you people have against lions? Nothing, that's what."

I have to admit, you were correct on this one! Great share!

Wow, that's some great piece of copy. It kind of keeps you wanting for more. I like it that it's very funny. Once again, it proves that humor does sell. It kind of makes me want to buy one even if I don't need it. )

Great copy, nothing to say. And the comments it received make its effectiveness very clear.

However, it got me wondering - it's obvious that all those people who commented knew it was a review written by a writer - don't they care?

Since I'm in the business of writing reviews, I know better than to believe everything I read on the internet, no matter how well it is written.

I am not saying the review was just pure marketing, only that it would make me think twice about it. If I were to look up for reviews, as much as I would appreciate a funny, catchy text, I wouldn't let myself bought with it.

Yet everyone there seemed absorbed by how well written the text was, without wondering about the truth behind it...

guess im the odd one out but it just screams "coffee shop hipster writer hopng to score a "best of craigslist" piece except in the amazon flavor.

i dont necessarily think its paid review, i think its oozing pure ego.

I was wondering when somebody would hate on it.

The reading level is way above the 3rd grade too. A lot of $10-dollar words that might confuse people.

But so what. It's pretty piece of writing. And look at the feedback...the guy had marriage proposals for pete's sake.

P.S. Some of mankind's greatest accomplishments can be credited to "pure ego". Humility is for people who haven't done shit in their lives.

P.S. I don't think it was written by a professional copywriter. That said, the guy is funnier than Dennis Miller on his best day. Remember Dennis Miller. He was funny for around a month, back in the '80's.

Yea, and we could nitpick all the fitness copy out there that was obviously written by lard asses.

It doesn't matter if it's factually off a bit off...as long as it sells.

I'd expect a telemarketer of all people to understand that.
