Love him or hate him...

Love him or hate him... you gotta admit, Trump knows how to brand himself.

"Trump knows something about building "brands"--and for now at least he has one that sells. The business guy who can't be bought. The iconoclast who won't be controlled. The unrepentant loudmouth who will tell the Boehners and Pelosis and Putins and Kim Jong Uns of the world to stuff it. The quip machine--or insult generator if you prefer--who stands in sharp contrast to the dry, safe, meaningless drivel that passes for most political discourse today." (Matt Latimer)

That's an interesting take, although Trump makes my skin crawl at times, he seems to be in his element right now because he's playing "his own" game.

I think what's holding many people's interest (besides his supporters) is wondering what he'll say next. And will it kill his numbers or boost them like it's been doing. Even the experts are scratching their heads at this point.

But it does speak to the importance of finding who your market is, hitting their untapped itch and not worrying about people whose not going to buy from you anyway. Plus, it is kinda entertaining watching the other "seasoned candidates" dear-in-headlights look when trying to figure Trump out - and why he's still here. Plus, who'll be first to try and "Swipe" some of his tactics.

Trump is also a case-study in the effectiveness of Polarization. Unless he blunders significantly in the months ahead, I expect that his followers will make him a factor when the primaries get here.

Some cause-oriented hackers recently hacked one of my websites. So I researched what they're about and then donated a large sum of money to the entity they hate the most.

The next time they hack one of my websites I'm going to donate DOUBLE.
