COPY WRITING

Hi,

I need to build a portfolio of sample work of sales letter. I use to write them ages ago but then move on to journalism and Public Relations. Can anyone help me? What's the best way to market yourself as Direct Response Copywriter, internationally?

Maybe get a good sales page and have it translated accurately and emphasize what you can do for the organization who hires you...

@OP:

In all seriousness, if you had results from previous work, it's fine to use them as examples or case studies.

"What have you done for me lately?" is a factor in the real world, but it's not the only one. Once a winner, likely often a winner.

Was your copywriting work in another language than English?

As a writer, it can be helpful to differentiate yourself. This means standing out in buyers' eyes by using something other than the fact that you're a writer. "Flavor." In your case, as you say you've done journalism and PR, how can you tie one or both of these into your approach as a DR copywriter to position yourself as unique?
