      Attention Porkers!


      It bombed - he lost about $30k. I just love the fact that he had the balls to write that! It seems that overweight people are really uptight about being called 'porkers'.

      Carl Galletti wrote a book, "2001 Greatest Headlines Ever Written" that has 2001 headlines broken up into those identical categories. I think when I bought it, quite some time ago, it was about $49.95

      You might try that for ideas or it sounds like you may already have it.

      Ever thought of writing a report or ebook on copywriter research techniques? I bet it would be a good one. Over the years, you've demonstrated an excellent command of Google search techniques.

      Your ebook could be No. 2 in a series. (No. 1 would be the one you wrote about getting clients.)

          It's something, weirdo writers like me would totally enjoy. Being anal about finding a hook and getting all the information is my bread and butter when writing a piece.

            I have a full arsenal of the best headlines. My emails have opening rates of 50-80%!

            Headlines are very important because your emails want to be opened. Some good ones are:

            - 7 reasons why...
            - How to...
            - How to save time and boost your sales...
            - How I improved my...
            - Who else wants....
            - The secret of...
            - Here is a quick way to...
            - Now you can quit your job and....
            - What everybody ought to know about...
            - Give me 3 minutes and I will make you a better Blogger...


            These are just examples. However, my headlines always work and improve my opening rates. Contact me if you need any help.
