If you've taken any copy courses... then your mind and your heart are the best
    options for email.

Seriously, I made more money, per email, back in 2001 to 2007 when I would send my list emails that came from the heart, were meant to give them valuable advice that helped them get what they wanted... was interesting enough to deliver that WOW factor... and of course, gently nudged them at the end to take action that was in their own best interests.

The funny thing is, the longer I've been doing this, the more I realize that most of us already have, in our minds and hearts, all we need in order to write incredible copy.

BUT... we think we need the newest book or latest course.

I mean, sure, Matt Furey, Ben Settle, Andre Chaperone, Jon Benson... they all have great courses.

But you can also sign up for their lists, get a feel for what they do, and then model it using your brain and your heart.

    Course not needed.

Now, if you're a beginner in copy and email, that's different.

But if you've been in the game long enough, you probably don't need a course like those above.

Just think of one person on your list, write something that will help that one person get what they want, keep them interested in your email because it delivers WOW info.... and then say "Hey, if you liked this, I have something else over where that will really help you get what you want."

Bottom line, don't be so formulaic. Be yourself, offer yourself, and some personal info so they know you... so you have a relationship with them, built on trust, and you offering valuable stuff that helps them get what they want.

As Ryan Deiss said "you have to EARN your way into their inbox, or you become among the 1,000 emails that just sit there, unopened.

And how you do that is being different, being unique, and helpful, and interesting, and useful, and personal, and showing that you really do have their best interests at heart.

Over time, you build up trust and value, and have improved their lives so much, you can then nudge them into checking out your offers... and they're happy to do it because you've helped them so much.

So, sure, the courses above will help... but you probably have all you need in your head and your heart to write good emails, as long as you know a bit about copy, persuasion, and selling.

I've been talking to so many people lately that ask me about this course and that course... when the whole time, they have enough knowledge in their head to write amazing things... if they just allow themselves.

I referred a client to Daniel Levis - Email Alchemy Elite...
he couldn't put it down and raved about it.

Shawn mentioned Jon Benson...well he used Daniel Levis
to write email sequences for his existing list
and blew the lid off what he'd ever done.

        Something to think about.

I've purchased a lot of material on email marketing.

One of the better courses was Andre Chaperon's Autoresponder Madness.

I've been using its methods and getting good results.
