How do copywriting sales fare over summer?

I'm thinking of getting into copywriting to supplement the income of my e-commerce store, particularly over the summer when sales dip for my e-commerce store.

It would depend on the client's market.

It would depend on who you are working with - how prepared they are, etc, etc.

Any business that has "busy time" coming in the fall and winter should be preparing in the summer. Not all do.

    There's no answer.

    It all depends.

I've been in the business for 15 years now and for me business slows
in the Summer and Christmas time.

Target the southern hemisphere. Australia, NZ, South Africa and others are all experiencing winter when its summer in the northern hemisphere.

Depends on your clients and your niche. If you're writing for, let's say, dating or travel sites, I would imagine it's decently busy. If you're writing for retail, then maybe not

  • I know everyone says business slows in the Summer but for me, winter and early fall have always been my worst months.
