  • You can't.

I just finished reading the Robert Collier Letter Book, and one of the biggest things that stuck out to me was that for ever successful letter he wrote, he wrote several that performed much worse.

You're never going to reach perfection, although you've got the right idea to strive for it.

Judging from your post, you're a few years away from being able to write mediocre articles.

Start by picking up a book on grammar & punctuation. Have the smartest native English speaker you know correct your writing until you get the rules down. Write at least several dozen articles for them to correct, and then rewrite them until you get it right.

(You will eventually break these rules on purpose, but there's an obvious difference between bending grammar rules to sound natural, and breaking them on accident.)

You should also be reading everything you can get your hands on. I'd recommend reading a hundred or so YA novels. I'm assuming you're not a native English speaker, so if you want to learn to write amazing articles, it's going to take immersing yourself in the language as much as possible. I recommend YA novels because it's a simple voice - which is how you'll want to write probably 90% of articles. Also, because they're often fun to read, so you won't burn out and give up.

Pick a few newspapers and read them every day.

Decide the sort of articles you want to write, find the best blogs & magazines on that topic, and read those every day.

    So...

    Read a ton every day.
    Write a ton every day.
Get someone who's an expert in writing to critique your writing.
    Rewrite a ton every day.

After a year or so of that, you'll be a lot closer to the perfect writer you want to be.

(By the way, this isn't even mentioning the principles of article writing. I wouldn't worry about that until you make a little progress on writing itself. Others might disagree.)

My friend you'll NEVER be perfect! But, you can absolutely gain excellence.

For me when i started blogging bro it was really difficult. I'm much more comfortable on video thats for sure.

However, what I found is every article/blog post/website page I put up & wrote about the more I learned & the more I improved to the point now i can combine my writing ability & knowledge to put to gether a 3000 word blog post in a few hours if i really want to.

Basically, start where you are & work at it every single day.

Any questions let me know! There are some amazing courses out there. But ultimately until you take action there is no improvement period.

To your success. Make it happen. Coach Sam
