Simple Way To Create Your VSL Hooks

My buddy asked me for help to create a hook for a product he's working on…

So after 5 minutes of going back and forth, I blurted something out...

He went silent. Paused and said out loud…

"Jeez man. How did you come up with that so fast?"

I lol'd.

I never considered myself great at coming up with hooks. Maybe I am. Maybe I'm not.

Not one to brag. That's the shy, introvert inside of me...

Anyways, I'll show you how I come up with them in just a second…

Because in all honestly, how many times can you say "1 weird tip to lose weight?"

However, if you want a high-converting offer…

You have to be a master at crafting hooks and sales messages in the big money niches…

Especially in the cold traffic game...

Unless your niche is "how to build chicken coops."

And yes, that's a niche…

So we must get ultra-creative and come up with hooks that forces our prospect to stop
what he or she is doing and watch or read…

If you have a product you want to sell online, or just can't stand writing your own copy…this will make things a lot easier for you…

In fact, it's so simple, when I taught this to a group of fitness pros in Miami last weekend
at a private mastermind, they were all furiously taking notes…

Their eyes opened up because they just "got it."

Oh and the best part...

This will save you a lot of time staring at a screen and you don't need to be a persuasion gooroo expert who has read every Tom Dick & Harry book on copywriting…

Sounds good?

Great…

So what is this simple VSL/Sales letter hack to come up with your own hooks?

Just…Be…Contrarian

That's it.

And if you're not sure what I mean…

Well, the definition of contrarian is nothing more than opposing popular opinion, going against the grain.

While everyone is zigging…you zag.

Here are some quick examples I shared down in Miami…

Note** Again these were fitness pros and just examples...

"How donuts can help you burn fat."
"How drinking too much water can slow down your
metabolism."
"Why too much exercise can make you age faster."
"How jogging clogs your arteries."

Obviously these are simple examples. Yet still, they cause the reader to stop and wonder for a second, which is the whole point.

Wouldn't you agree?

One of those brilliant copywriter guys that everyone loves to quote said it best.

The whole purpose of your headline…AKA "YOUR HOOK" is to get them to stop and read.

Then, it's up to you to back up those claims with science, proof and results...

Of course you need to throw in your story…but you get the point…

There are plenty of ways to skin a cat…

Anyways, that's enough for now.
