Is it out with the old and in with new - or more than that?

I'm not sure about copywriting.

So far I've bought 3 copywriting courses and about to move onto the fourth.

Each of them has been different in what way they were preaching to me, but recently I've noticed less of the "problem beginnings" of the copy..

Like before I would always notice a copy that bled every problem there is with every other product and solution, then to introduce the ultimate solution.

Then to deepen it with more of what the solution can and will do!

I haven't noticed this as much now.. is it just me?

It's difficult to draw too many hard conclusions from the copy
you've seen. Pointing out problems with other products is merely
one approach and there are others.

So what exactly do you mean when you say you're unsure about
copywriting? Your statement is a bit vague. Do you feel unsure
because the courses were so different?

    Regards.

If you can learn a few good points from each course your heading in the right direction.

Let's say you buy the John Carlton, Gary Halbert, Clayton Makepeace, Scott Haines (going out of print) and whom evers course.

You may find that they are Reiterating the same points of view. And thats Ok becasue these guys all know the proven tricks and tactics that work.

Scott Haines for example. He trained with Halbert so alot of his stuff is Halbert-esque. Alot of people have taken Halbert's stuff and put their own points of view on it.

Frank Kern loves Carlton stuff... so you may have alot of Carlton-esque stuff going on with him. It's just about the proven formulas and techniques that work.

what do you mean by "problem beginnings"? are you saying you notice less copy start off with the problem, rather than the solution?

showing the problems/faults of other competitors can create doubt in ones mind. creating doubt, guilt, and regret are very powerful motivators. and motivation causes action...

I think you can take a little from everybody and do what you feel is best.

Also you should learn how to present yourself on video that increases conversions like you would not believe... Also for seo purposes videos are great. Google loves videos
