Looking for effective nickname for freelancing sites as a web designer

I want a name that will make me stand out without being cheesy...

This is for freelancing sites, I'm a Canadian living in Thailand.

Additionally, I have to "compete" with about 30-50 Indians and Bangladesh providers, so it has to state my competitive advantage and that is:

- Perfect English/French Communication
- Cheaper than my western compatriots(but more than 3rd world providers)

So basically I offer a "hybrid" solution, outsourcing from an Expat, same service as the west but more economical.

The name has to stand out of a long list of nicknames...

Any genuine advice would be appreciated

I thought about:
  • exceedexpectations
  • dynamitepro
  • expertexpat
  • masterlance
  • xpatfreelancer

But they all sound like crap....

Any suggestions?

    Pick one and take action. You can always change it later or ditch it altogether (I recommend doing that 'cause most freelance sites suck, with rare exception).

    This is such a tiny part of your overall business that it really shouldn't be the part that hangs you up and keeps you from moving forward.

    Hey, Canadian living in Thailand,

    your names are all too long / complicated

    now you have a Thai style party and you cool down a bit

    Simplify! Simplify! Simplify!

    and make it short and snappy!

    Like Angie said, this is a small part... + What makes a site name effective is that the company behind it delivers... Amazon made amazon.com effective. Before they took off, it was not.

    If by effective you mean easy to remember, it's easy, just keep it short and make sure there's at least 1 vowel in there.

    Birt.com can be made into an effective site for you... once people start saying, I got my dohekey on birt.com.

    Don't like birt.com, lirt.com is probably available, so is, probably, mirt.com and nirt.com and hirt.com and they all can be the next amazon.com as far as effectiveness goes, as long as you do the required lifting.

    My long-winded way of saying, Why you wasting precious time, dude?

    Put up a site, already.

    I fully agree with what others have said.

    Choose a short name, which is easily written and easily pronounced.

    And do not waste too much time on this aspect.

    I think you should simply choose your real name. This is a great way to distinguish yourself from your Indian or Pakistani competitors... A way of saying: I am a Westerner.

    And, especially, as says the following website:

    For most freelancers, naming your business can be a short process that takes only a few minutes. How so? You name your business after yourself. After all, your business is you. You are your brand.

    Using your own name gives your business a personal touch. By using your own name, you show your clients they'll be working with just one person who will give his or her best to the project.

    Additionally, when you're starting out, you may want to try your hand at a range of different freelance skills. Having a formal business name can tie you down to a particular niche.

    I recommend that if naming your business proves a big stumbling block for you, then just go with your real name.

    Just use your real name and place Thailand based English/French Speaking Canadian Web Designer in your job title or on the overview/description portion of your online profile in the freelancing site. Your perfect English and competitive rate will also be known by the client through your proposal. But if you really want a nickname, "BahtCheaperEnglish" would make you standout for those clients who value this qualification.
