Hello,

I have a couple of good testimonials from my offline work but I need to put something in my overview on FREELANCER.com. But the problem is that I think they might come up as scammy or made up as they don`t come from FREELANCER.com or at least that`s what I`m thinking what are your thoughts?

  • You can always insert the name of the person who referred you. You can also ask if you can include their email address or social media handle. I think this helps lower the possibility of people to think these testimonials are scams.
  • You can simply state the name of the company, the tasks involved, skills you may have learned or developed along the way, and the length of the project/employment alongside each testimonial. It's not going to sound a bit spammy if what you placed in your overview are true. Let us know how it turns out. Good luck!
  • Hello, I think what you need to do is to create a name for yourself in FLEELANCER.com. Let members know you for as a contributor and not with sole purpose of advertising.
