If you have any experience related to content writing then please share some knowledge related to content writing.

According to you, Which tool is best for readability score, accuracy score and LSI keywords?

    That's an easy question to answer.
    The special tool you're looking for is called.... "a human being - a content writer."

    I'm NOT saying that because it's what I do. But I have seen so many people think they can find a cheap or free "tool" and end up with low quality content but they don't know it's low quality because they don't know how to tell the difference.

    Only an experienced writer can actually help you achieve that goal so you're better off spending money and it will make you look better in the eyes of your customers as well as give you better results.

    There are tools out there that will analyze a piece of content and spit out some statistics. But the tricky part is knowing what to do with them. Too many people are looking for an ironclad rule to follow, and become slaves to it.

    For example, people will tell you to ignore keywords with less than 2,000 searches per month, even though a perfectly good keyword exists with 1,990 searches.

    You can plug a piece of content into a tool to measure the Flesch-Kincaid score, but it won't help if you dumb down your material to meet some rule and lose the flavor of the content.

    I'm not aware of any tool that measures accuracy - hard to beat a human fact checker for this.

    Bottom line, as long as content has to appeal to humans, the best tool for content writing is a well-trained human.

      When I wrote my first book my publisher told me to write for an 8th grade reading level on the Flesch-Kincaid scale. It was a college text book!

      (I'd never heard of it until then)

    A content is only as good as its writer. No tool can ever compete with the creativity of a human mind. Support tools to check grammar mistakes and readability are obviously available but we can rely on some tools like Hemmingway editor for highlighting lengthy, complex sentences and common errors. The best tool to use for LSI would definitely be a combination of google search and creativity.

    Is the content you're looking to create content marketing?

    If that's the case, I would recommend doing it yourself for a couple reasons.

    One, the way you write is generally how you speak, and you want people to get a feel of You and who You are. It also creates an identity that distinguishes you from the rest.

    And two, if you're an affiliate marketer or sell products of your own, as I'm sure you know people buy things from who they like and trust.

    Injecting Your personality and thinngs you like and don't like while sharing your content's lessons will create polarity.

    This will have some people repel from you, but that's a good thing because those that do like you will identify with you more, and be more likely to purchase a product form you or join your list.

    When I wrote my first book my publisher told me to write for an 8th grade reading level on the Flesch-Kincaid scale. It was a college text book!
    Most US newspapers are written/edited for an 8th grade reading level.

    This does not necessarily mean that they are "dumbed down." It means making sure sentences are shorter and clear rather than dense and overly complicated, and avoiding long words when simpler ones get the job done just as well.

    People can often understand stuff written two grade levels above if they try hard. But in many contexts there is no need to make them have to work that hard.

    This probably isn't what you're looking for but I use the Hemingway app for writing all my content. It doesn't check for keyword density, seo stuff or anything like that. It just helps you write in a clear concise way that people will be able to read quickly and be able to easily understand. Basically, it just makes you a better writer which in turn makes everything you write better.

    As a side note, if you use WordPress and want to rank your content better install the Yoast seo plugin. That will help you optimize your content for keywords and for google.

    I agree with laurencewins. The best "tool" is your brain. But, you should check out grammerly if you're into gadgets and gizmo. Just don't be taken in by the "magic technology" fallacy. If you want to be good, YOU have to be good.

  • I prefer such tools as Edmondo, HemingwayApp, Grammarly but my fav is unicheckplagiarism checker, because the main requirement for my work is the uniqueness of content. Editors carefully check my articles and my reputation as a reliable author is important for me.

    The best is pen and piece of paper, really. My best content was created when I was far away from my computer, during bike trip to forest near my place. It takes more time, but for me it's the ultimate solution. LSI, readability score etc? I don't care about this. Sure, if you are not native English speaker then you better watch your grammar carefully, so you don't make some crazy mistakes that look funny But even then this is not a problem as long as your content is valuable to the reader. Here is a tool that might help you, keep in mind it is just a stupid "machine" so your judgement is crucial anyway hemingwayapp.com. Also, there is one cool book titled "The Elements of Style", you might want to use it also.

  • Hello! I have been working on contentmart as a freelancer for a year or two now and all I can say that there can be no best tool for content writing; there's always a better. However, currently I am using Grammarly and Copyscape as all-timers for my content writing job and I can say they are perfectly trustworthy and helpful. And as for your second question, I would keep accuracy score as first, LSI keywords second and readability score as third. But, it does not matter whether you use thousands of different tools for content writing; the best tool is your mind and soul.

    I have tried content generators but found myself rewriting the an article myself, so I never bother with content generators or writers.

    As others have said Copyscape is my favourite tool.

    I like to write articles that I find interesting and do not bother about keywords apart from in the heading and first paragraph and then maybe a couple in the article.

    The joy comes from putting it in Copyscape and finding you have an article that you thought was only five hundred words being nine hundred words long!

    Pro Writing Aid is a great online tool to proofread your articles and it's only cheap for the year. I write my article in a word doc first and then copy and paste it into Pro Writing Aid and then go through the featured tools to check it through.
    It guides you through the process and I check everything through once I have written the article by placing all the text into PWA.

    You don't need fancy writing tools (other than Word, perhaps).

    Write for people first -- not search engines.


    Because even if someone finds your article via Google or Bing, the question is... will they actually read it, bookmark it, or share it?

    That's why I would suggest you write in two passes:

    1) Write for the reader.

    2) Go through and insert logical keywords where they make sense -- but don't stuff keywords (Google knows that trick.)

    In other words... keep it simple.

    Great content is work. To be great at writing great content that engages your readers and help drive them to perform actions, consider the following:

    Craft highly engaging and relating headlines. Now this is important. Nobody would click through a headline that's not compelling enough. Your headline is your book cover. Make it stunning.

    Originality is key. While you will have to do your research well, do not copy someone's work. That's their great content, not yours.

    Keep It Simple Stupid. We know you went to Harvard for your English major. Well, you have a certificate to announce that, not your content. Remember, your readers are not there to marvel at how great you are in English and grammar. They are there for content. They are looking for ways to do something, offer that to them. Also, ensure the language you use is easier for them to understand

    Determine the value like thinking of creation of content as an involving manufacturing process. Consider what these firms would refer to as product features. What are you offering in exchange for their time? Value. Value and value.

    Optimization. Now your great content needs to be able to compete favourably for the search engine pages. Ensure that you do on-page SEO and after you've published it, start the marketing process.

    Always remember, your content isn't great till someone finds it great. So share, let people know you've 'manufactured' a great post.

    I won't prefer a tool over a human content writer. Why? Because, I believe most of these tools use semantic analysis to draft the content. Machine learning has improved a lot but these content pieces are still machine-generated and clearly sound like a robot talking. With such kind of a content it is really hard to engage the audience. I have a personal website and I have hired a professional agency Content Development Pros, to write me all the content and I really like their work. It's engaging and informative at the same time.

    I have used a famous application named Grammarly to correct errors. But, the results had been just the reverse. I ended up making more errors based on the suggestions from the app. It's better to correct grammar related writings on own. Content Writing is a vast and the most interesting thing. Its best if you master it on your own

      I know this is an old thread but there are a couple of good tools out there that have developed over the time since this post that may help a couple of you who want something to help with effective content creation.

      Both are NOT automated but they have a degree of AI and various other useful things that can help whilst you write.

      Check out storychief. I've been using this for several months now to write and publish content.

      It is useful for some of the posting skills where you can post your content after writing and have it generate extracts to use in other locations with correct citations etc.

      This is also useful if you update or edit content after you have it live as it will edit in multiple places.

      The interface is nice to use.

      the other thing which is a little bit similar but has a few other skills of which some are similar to storychief is webtextools.

      Webtexttools has a word plugin if you want to create content using word.

      Also has some interesting gender text assessing tools.

      Also tracks ranking of published content and competitive content.

      Uses some AI functionality to pull in data anonymously from all users to assist with structures and components that are working.

      You can pull existing content in and run it through the service and generate suggestive improvements and get some analytics out of content you already have out there.

      These tools will continue to develop and I would suggest looking at their roadmaps and case user experiences to see how they are helping content writers.
