THE best copywriter!!!

Hi guys

I have been writing copy for a while now and I think it is time that I outsourced or bought a program from the best.

Would be good to get some opinions from your experiences.

Who is the best current copywriter to learn from today?

You learn something from different copywriters. It depends on what
you want to accomplish. I read very copywriting book I can get
my hands on because that's what 'experts' do--they want to
know what everyone else has to say on a single subject.

But maybe you don't want to be an expert, or to write for
others, but maybe just to write for your online business.

So tell me what you want to accomplish and I may be able
to point you in the right direction.

I've learned from more than one copywriter and I've learned
good things from each of them.

So it would be difficult to just pick one.

Instead of just looking for "the best copywriter", you should
probably look for "the best copywriter in X niche".

(replace X with whatever niche you're interested in)

    Hope that helps,

    Dean.

Devour "How To Write A Good Advertisement" by Victor O. Schwab. It's a great summary of what you'll learn from today's big-ticket copywriting teachers, but at a fraction of the cost.

Asking copywriters who is the best copywriting teacher to learn from is like asking a bunch of guys in a bar who is the most beautiful woman in the world.

You'll get a lot of opinions and they will probably all be right.

It depends on your personality and you connect with. For me, it was copywriting teachers like Michel Fortin, Clayton Makepeace, John Carlton, Doug D'Anna for starters. I've studied over 40 different teachers and gotten great advice and useful info from all of them.

There's some copywriters out there who write some great copy... but their style is completely different from mine. I couldn't if I tried (and I wouldn't want to) write like them. It wouldn't be a comfortable fit for my personality or natural writing style.

Find the copywriter who's work you connect with. Then find out if they teach copy. That's my best advice for you.

        Hi Paul,

I'm horribly biased on this topic because I teach John Carlton's Simple Writing System. That aside, I can tell you that the system is designed specifically for people in your situation.

Whether you decide to write your own copy or outsource to a freelancer, John's system will teach you the difference between good sounding copy and good selling copy.

Mike gave you a good tip, too. Find a writer who resonates with you and do what it takes to get inside their head.

Certain world class writers offer mentoring, but you'll need to earn your way in. Vin Montello was the guy who made it all happen for me. Private mentoring with someone of his caliber (rare air) is the quickest path to success I've found.

        Best,
        Kevin

Personal preference really! Don't put all your eggs in one basket I always say, different copywriters teach different components and its good to learn as much as you can!
