Is it bad to copy others in this profession?

Is there really a lot of room for creativity in this profession? how many different sales pages can you make? I think that no matter what you come up with, someone else would have already done it, it looks like a business where you have to say the same things again and again, so i wonder if copying others is really that bad compared to other writing skills like blogging. I have a really good swipe file and i wonder if its ok to plagiarize everything.

"Plagiarizing everything is a bad thing" .After all we as marketers should seek to create and or promote products services tailored to the needs of our audience.I do support learning picking up pointers from others that can be used to better you as a marketer and provide more value for customers. As long as what you are copying is legit and valuable by all means use it .

Stay with blogging. You are not anywhere near ready to even begin to learn copywriting. Of course, just one opinion and that based on this riduculous question. Plagiarizing ANYTHING is a totally wrong mindset to begin with.

Just because you can copy Shakespeare's words, that doesn't mean you're anywhere close to being him. Original work is better than copies, period. Use it as inspiration, even as a model, but never word for word.

If you want to work on your copywriting skills, find a great sales letter you love.

Then, replace their product and offer with yours. Then, re-write their story with yours. Then, their headline with a new one for you. Boom, great sales letter, without copying anything.

    Hello Shanks88

Plagiarism, by all means, is not a legal thing to do. Now, I understand what kind of situation are you facing. So, here I propose to help you with your problem. First of all, I would like you to check this video on youtube. Go on, dear friend:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I131v_cruvg

Now, I assume that you have already watched this video. So, we can talk further.
If you have read the book called "The Boron Letters" by gary helbert, you will know that he really emphasizes on taking the successful advertisements or successful sales letters, writing them using hand and speaking loudly while writing. You also saw the same thing in the video above. Now, here is what I want you to do. Copy all the succesful copies you can get your hands on. Yes, do it. Copy it exactly the same. What will happen after around 3 months is that you will start to get a sense of what a good copy sounds like. After that you will start getting your own ideas on how to write a good copy. You will never run out of creative ideas to write a work of your own.
I repeat again not to plagiarize. However, use the successful content of the past as your foundation in order to create excellent content in future.

    Hope this will help

    regards
    Anit

P.S. If you do not have "the boron letters" book, let me know. I can give it to you

  • Slavish replication advances nowan.

Problem is, anythin' sparky don't flux outta noplace less'n you pick up coupla happin' rocks an' bang 'em together kinda smart.

Thing is, results flow outta copyin' already happened.

Evrythin' posthumous demands prerequisites, I guess.

Walk out into the fyooture on that bandwagon, don't matter if'n you can moonwalk.

    Steps kinda dead.

    HOWEVAH ...

Muster tried & tested smarts an' spit 'em back as reinvigorated fluxbeests cos you got 'em to MAKE WITH THE SMOOCHIE ... an' mebbe sumthin' entreprenoorial happens from outta two bunchesa screwed stuff.

Note -- Quotin' me on this ain't gonna get nowan noplace. Plagiarise inya own words, mebbe yr therapist rocks out on the "why, you're making such incredible progress, maybe we can think about dropping down to weekly" & you can figure frequenter lifestyle stuffs.

Smart to model their fundamentals, to be successful.

Silly to copy outright, because they have huge followings who trust them, and nobody will trust you when you copy someone else. Either you lose your following who wants you to be YOU or you never gain a following because folks demand genuine people who offer 1 of a kind content and services.

Replication can only get you so far. But It is necessary for initial learning and scaling businesses and economies of scale.

But eventually we'll hit a point to need to create new processes creatively.

I think it's very bad to copy others whatever the profession is. You can't plagiarize other's writing in any way.

There is no good or bad thing here. The only thing you should keep in mind is give a good content with useful information in it. And you should plagiarize your content.
