how much to pay writers?

Hello everyone. I starting a small copywriting service where I will be charging 99 dollars for 1000 words.

I will not be writing the content myself and will be trying to find permanent writers for the work.

What do you think I should be paying my writers for 1000 words? I'm looking to pay high enough to give clients quality work, but low enough to make the business profitable.

Where do you think the happy middle would be?

    copywriting...or...content writing? Do you know?

If copywriting - price is low and outsourcing is a problem

If content writing - price is high and the same person who might hire you can hire an experienced writer on a freelance site for half that price or less.

Having managed group0s of writers - it's a lot more work than you might think.

Sorry about that. This will be for content.

The price may be a little high. If I cant get clients I'll increase the word count and make the deal better.

But what price point do you think I could get quality writers to do this for?

  • Thing is, to whom do the words speak volumes?

& where be the writah person can crank 'em out while simultaneously appearin' INSPIRED?

Any an' all payscales straddle this axis -- either PAINFULLY ... or exotically.

Problem is, most evrywan seekin' srs writers = pain in the ass.

    Why so?

Bcs the more you write out what people wanna say, the more they say OH YEAH HUM UHM WHAH ...but I could have written that out MYSELF.

Always, question is ... SO WHY THY F*CK DIDN'T YA?

Gotta consider yourself a DICTATAH in this respect.

    Keep thinking scarcity

Your attention is totally on the wrong thing.

WHO will pay for your services?

    WHY will they value it?

Haven't seen a hint of any of that...and that's where your pricing and value comes from.
