Who Else Needs A Sales Letter Copywriter for FREE? (3 - 5 Review Copies)

9 replies
Hello Warriors,

I am just starting out to write sales letters and thought it would be a great idea to write a sales letter completely FREE for a few warriors.

The thing is I want to build a strong portfolio. I want a reputation. I want testimonials and proven results to share with other people who would hire me in the future.

I want to write a sales letter that practically converts at a very high rate within each of my preferred niches.

My preferred niches:

* Internet Marketing
* Health
* Body Building
* Dating
* Financial Markets
* Spirituality & Self Motivation
* Social Media Marketing & Affiliate Marketing

I strongly believe I've what it takes to write sales copy for you, my fellow warrior.

Here's why:

I wrote an affiliate's landing page before.

This has been my first ever sales copy written by me.

Day Trading Robot

Update: The client has tweaked the letter to just 10% of the copy I wrote so I am afraid. He is now using a different strategy altogether.

The best part is..

The client was overjoyed when he saw the copy because he'd ordered only a pre-sell whereas it was written originally like a "real sales letter".

And the client is promoting it through PPC.

It CONVERTS at 2.5%. My first sales copy converts at 2.5%. I was elated to know that. It felt like I found my ground when my client said "not bad". I became ecstatic, overjoyed and my joy knew no bounds.

For a person who wrote that sales copy without any single re-write & edit, it was like a dream come true.

If you can observe the affiliate landing page you will find the copy is sharp, precise, to-the-point, cutting-edge & focuses on the end result while building reputation of "Jason Kelly" - the original product owner. The reader is able to skim through the copy in no time. It captures audiences.

However many people told me to open a WSO here. I am NOT currently interested in opening a WSO until I've something heavy to show or I get some paid gigs which offer me to build my reputation & portfolio. I definitely plan to open a WSO in the near future.

All I want to do is write 3 sales letters for 3 warriors, 3 Affiliate landing pages (I have a FREE order for one already from the affiliate bully guy, Andre Chaperon so count that as 2 affiliate landing pages for warriors) & 3 opt-in pages to build a STRONG solid sales copywriting portfolio.

Now here's what is there on the table:

* 0 Sales Letters.
* 1 Affiliate Landing Pages.
* 1 Squeeze / Opt-in pages.

Update: 4 Offers received and 1 accepted. There is a change in the number of acceptable offers currently as I am packed with FREE & paid offers till November 7 2009.

Each individual I cater for FREE must provide me with their name, contact number (preferable), email address, testimonial & screenshots of your results.

Major Update: Edit: This offer is mostly applicable to highly reputed warriors or those warriors who have been hanging around for at least a year now. Why? Because It helps me get established as a sales letter copywriter at the warrior forum and at the same I know that I am offering a sales letter to a warrior who deserves the most.

For other people, I'll be opening a WSO as soon as I'm done with a few sales letters to prove my worth. If you need a sales letter (paid), you can still PM me. I already have got 4 offers for writing a sales letter FREE with 1 for writing email copy which was a surprise though I wasn't offering the same for FREE. I am currently making a decision and will post an update.

Why am I doing this for FREE?

We've some of the best marketers & copywriters at the Warrior Forum. Now, I want to write only for people who've a reputation online.
Now, if you don't have a reputation online that's still okay, you can PM me. However I reserve the right to accept / reject your offer. I've my own reasons for it.

I want to build a portfolio. I wasn't willing to write copy for FREE (people don't value stuff that comes FREE) at all though now I think it's a great proposition for me to build my portfolio.

I want to build a STRONG portfolio that shouts out loud like people digging it all the time.

I want warriors to talk about me. I want your results to talk about me with solid statistical proof in the form of screenshots.

I want to prove my credibility.

That's why: If you are from the US / Canada, I'll call you on your landline / mobile and speak to you personally about your sales offer. We'll discuss it on the phone and I'll always be available to call you on your phone or by email. You must provide your # for me to keep in touch with you when required as I prefer to personally keep in touch with my prospects.

I have been a content writer before which I now repent much. I'd rather write copy that sells than write content that is completely re-manufactured in ways known to many.

The best way to contact me is via email: info@webcopywritersblog.com. You need to mention that you are a fellow warrior with user id and above requested contact details.

I've proven my skills as a sales letter copywriter to my self. I'm convinced. I'm excited. I'm in a state of trance right now . I'm lovin' every bit of my taste of sales copywriting success. I'm ecstatic and raring to go ~ Voila! My love to Allen Says. Thanks Allen.

      I did the WSO exclusively to build my portfolio. I sold 3 at $297 and
      3 at $497.

      I got some really good projects to work on. I will never need to do
      a $297 again after this.

      You just got to know how to sell yourself and be honest. A lot of
      people really hate writing their sales pages. They will roll the dice
      if they think you've got something.

      Good luck with it

      p.s. I would not do more than one free letter. There is no need. Put
      your energy into one good one and you're set.

      Paul
      Great example Paul. I completely agree. Why give away your professional services just because you're starting out?

      When I started writing copy professionally several years ago, the only portfolio samples I had to show people was things I had written for my offline business and 1-2 massage-related info-products of my own. I still was able to sell 5 rewrites for $200 each in less than 72 hours as a WSO. This is just one of many things I did to attract clients and continue to do. I've been full-time as a copywriter charging mid-four figures minimum ever since.

      Working for free doesn't pay your rent or mortage. I don't recommend that anyone work for free.

      The other thing is... people don't value free copy as much copy that they have paid for. Ask the typical online marketer how many free ebooks, reports, and even salesletters (that came with a resell rights package) are currently sitting unused on their computer. The answer is a lot.

      Best of luck,

      Mike

      Paul
      I am one of the lucky ones that got in on Paul's offer and I can't wait to work with him.
      But, I do agree with others that you do not have to offer so much for free...from someone who was looking, I am not sure I would have valued your offer since you placed no value on it. although I absolutely agree that starting out you must offer great value to get on board and make a name for yourself.
      I wish you all the luck in the world with your new copy writing business. Your enthusiasm shows through!

        ronakshah,

        I agree with Mark and Kdobson. Thats alot to give away to anyone. Perhaps you would fit in well with an idea I had about a young new copywriter contest. We are in similar places. I've done some copy work a good few years ago but liked training and fiction writing more so drifted off.

        My love of programming, IM and copywriting kind of converged with my first (well second ) IM product recently and I've got some glowing reviews on the copy. I guess I grew older and matured because I kind of liked it this time and have decided to pursue copywriting more especially since the new FTC guidelines takes out a lot of the things I didn't like about copywriting to begin with.

        I can understand wanting to give one or two sales pages away because for whatever dollar price you choose you want to feel confident about what you are offering before you charge. However I'd pick wisely. There are some incredibly unthankful people out there and in the end Mike and Paul have a point. If I ever give away a sales page it will be either in the fun of a contest or to someone who I really find has a product or service I really like.

        Best wishes to you.

    Thanks for this thread.

    I learnt a thing or two from the way you have mentioned about marketing yourself.

    I am also starting out as a copywriter and I wish you and us All the Best.

      Perhaps you could raise the 2.5% to 3% by giving it a more serious intonation and add in a couple of benefits below.

      From the way the website was done, I believe the target audience were stock traders.

      Videos are refreshing, but stock traders tend to rely more worded reports.

      Focus on your audience and they'd feel a connection with you.

      That's how copy sells.

      Btw, copy is content that sells. Charge others at a lower rate, but never for free. This is not about basic content writing anymore, its about words that make others lots of money.

      Nevertheless, good luck in your future venture!
