Landing page copy for development services

Hi all. I am developing a service that supports and maintains web sites built with the python programming language (Django, Flask, Wagtail). I am struggling to write my home page 'one liner' that sums up my business and lets users know they are in the right place. My ideas so far are:

Python Web Maintenance
An easy and affordable way to keep your web site up to date.

Python Web Development as a Service
The easy and affordable way to keep your web site up to date.

The easy and affordable way to keep your web site up to date.
Featuring monthly support plans for sites written in the python programming language

Looking for a web developer?
We offer easy and affordable way to keep your web site up to date.

What do you think? Am I on the right track? I feel like the first option is simple but kind of boring. I also want my business to be more than 'web maintenance'.

Do the people you're after know their site uses Python?

    If yes,
    Python Web Maintenance Service

    would work.

    If not, it would not.

Keep Your Python-Based Website Working For You

would be better, in my opinion, which is neither humble nor proud, just is.

If you want your site to be about more than web maintenance, call it web developer/ing.

Don't think any will work to any great degree.

Always ask yourself what is your customer really looking for?

    Easy and affordable plans? No.

    Monthly support plans? No.

An up to date website? No.

Is that what keeps them up at night? No.

Are they drinking shots of vodka thinking they need a monthly support plan? No.

Are they swigging kegs of beer thinking they need an easy and affordable plan? No.

They want a lot of customers so they can make a lot of money.

When you're wanting to sell something, get to the end result in your customer's mind...

so they want to make a crap ton of money and they're not going to do it by a monthly support plan or easy and affordable payments because if you're making them a crap ton of money they couldn't care less about affordable monthly payments or a monthly support plan...it's prob been offered by every Tom, Dick and Harry already.

They're gonna do it with a website that makes them a boatload of money.

So make me think my dream can be a reality.

Give me something to be excited about.

    Promise me hope.

    Guide me to my fantasy.

Don't tell me the features of what you offer, tell me the benefits of what you offer.

Max5ty, The last few paragraphs are the mini course in copywriting, and it is amazing, how many don't get it.

Or, it isn't YOU and your magic words, it is them and what they want and get from you.

  • Firstly research on similar website on google and compare your one liners with them and again frame the best one liners that relevant to your business. Content writing is a art, so feel your business before keeping in front of end customers.

    Hi caseym,

It sounds like you're looking your a Unique Selling Proposition (USP)

You can give this template a try (usually works)

    ==============================================

You know how (business owners have a problem with?)

Which means that (pain the problem causes the business owner)

What we do is (the feature of your business)

"a service that supports and maintains web sites built with the python programming language (Django, Flask, Wagtail)" ~ your words

Which means that (The pain that's going to be removed from the equation)

    ==========================================

And then try tying that info into an "If/Then"

If you're web design is using Django, Flask or Wagtail, Then (here'e how they can eliminate their pain in xxxx timeframe)
    Signature

Right Now. What a wonderful time to start!
