I love the idea of using FAQs to explain things I seem to have to explain over and over again on multiple pages. Using FAQs I can insert with shortcodes would save a lot of time and I could work on making the FAQ wording fantastic instead of saying the same thing a dozen different ways, but only if using them isn't going to hurt my ranking. For example, if I'm writing about sleep deprivation, I would pull in FAQs about sleep hygiene. Alternatively, I could link to the page with the sleep hygiene article and not have the information on the same page.
Will using the same FAQ built with shortcodes on multiple pages be penalized as duplicate content?

My mind is exploding with ways to use FAQs, but before I leap in with both feet, I want to be sure I'm not hurting myself by using them.
