I feel this would be a decent template to work from, add some pics, social proof, testimonials, etc. - maybe show a few examples of what you are selling and willing to split 50/50 - but, you have to think like you already crushing it - don't chase them, make them chase YOU!

This was just a quickie "IDEA" that came to mind spontaneously - it certainly is not perfect - or - the best example of how I would address this offering/proposal. BTW, (YOU are free to use impart or in whole as you wish, I don't sell clothing, so do what you will with it -good-or-bad, no worries!) - hope you do well with it, either way!

    All the Best,

    -ART

Black is ME ME ME and Red is the party you are speaking to. You need to flip the percentage. The letter should be about THEM, and not you.

You produce awesome content, and I love your art, many of us here have been following you for a long time. ( Them BEFORE You )

The collab statement.. needs to be flipped. - It would be great if you did a collab with us.

Here's my 1st draft of the letter i'm going to be sending them.

    Hi Gary,

Here are a few basic points to keep in mind...

    1) If you're contacting YouTube influencers, you want the email you send them to be a PERSONAL note. Be friendly. Compliment them and their work.

    2) You also want to keep it simple and cut to the chase. Influencers, receive a lot of pitches for promotional deals. So, cut out the introductory fluff and get to the point.

    3) Next, you want to suggest an arrangement. Often, they'll have a deal structure they frequently use. For example, sometimes it's a percentage of the profits (aka, an affiliate deal)... others want a specific one-time payment.

    4) Finally, make it easy for them to contact you. They will typically use email (because it's fast and easy). Also, include your REAL name, website URL, and (if you are in the same country) your phone number.

The point here, is to be transparent. You don't want to offer them a deal and sign your email, "SuperAwesomeGuy 496" (or anything remotely similar). They don't want to deal with "a ghost."

The good news is, you got quite a bit right. But your copy does need some "fixing"...

    1) There are some places where the copy lacks clarity.

    2) You also open with, "I hope you're doing well. Let me introduce myself." A lot of influencers are busy. So, those are just 9 extra words they need to wade through to find out what the heck you want. Cut to the chase.

    3) Your salutation is just "Hi." Instead, open with Hi [THEIR NAME]. Otherwise, it's going to feel like a mass mailing.

    4) You need to pay attention to detail. For example, why are there two quote marks after the word "channel"... but no period? Have someone proofread it for you.

    5) It's a very small point, but in a personal letter, I prefer to use mostly "I" rather than "we." It's more one-to-one, me to you.

    Anyway...

    Here's your original version:

    IMPORTANT:

Below is a VERY QUICK revision of your letter. I'M OPERATING WITH VERY LIMITED INFO ABOUT YOUR PROJECT. So, use this as a GUIDE -- NOT as ready-to-mail, final sales copy. Again, my copy is an EXAMPLE.

Finally -- in any case -- the copy below could be improved further. For example, if you have strong profits, I would mention that. Influencers want to make money. If you have proof of strong sales, that WILL motivate them.

Others have given you some good raw material, too.

For example, you could pull some good ideas from Art's copy. But, in my opinion, I would avoid a headline and the use of scarcity (to make it look more personal).

With that said, here's my quick revision...

  • Yes - all the above.

Most importantly Paragraph 4 in the very aptly named Art 72's excellent copy.

The Influencers know what they want to be paid and won't be too shy in telling you.

But they must like, love and wear your gear.

They'll need to see it first.

You don't send letters to influencers. You send DM's. And those are short. Give a quick compliment and then a quick irresistible reason why they should DM you back. The whole thing should be like 3 lines of text or less. Nobody sends or reads 1000 words through DM's. Topics like this are where you see the old age of Warrior Forum.
