I need your copywriting help

I would like to start a Facebook LIKE campaign to get likes for my FB page.

Can you please help me with my FB ad?

Is it true that you can't use the word 'you' in the ad?

for instance, "LIKE us if you think Nascar rocks!" for a Nascar fan page

or "Click LIKE if you think dogs are awesome" for a dog fan page.

What do you guys think?

Thanks

  • So, No you cant say "You" anything...

You CAN boost a post with an image and the text in the post "LIKE if you think Nascar rocks!" but honestly when was the last time you saw anyone does this?

Maybe if you just generated good content and boosted to a audience that would have an interest, you would get your likes...

Not understanding why you want "Likes"

    • Facebook has some weird policy lately, so it often happens that ads that use some form of direct approach to users are being banned, so it would be a lot better if you don't use word you in your ads texts. But, there are some other things that you can do, you can paraphrase it a bit and ask people to "Like to learn more" or "Like to see why Nascar rock", etc. The point is into finding the most engaging CTAs as possible which means that you will have to do some researches as well to get to know your audience better. Also, some A/B testings and using various CTAs across your campaigns can be useful as well for getting to something that converts the most.

  • FB "like" campaigns are a complete waste of money. I guarantee you won't get the results you hope for.

Send traffic to a page you own.

If you must have likes you can buy them many places for a fraction of what FB will charge you

But in the end the result will be the same.

  • FB relies on evocative displays of immediate cavort.

The only role for any YOU here is to be FED.

Beyond genuine meetup points, there is only doubt or unrelentin' tsumamis of puke.

Hence the mwah mwah mwah brandin'.

"Sure, but I am so fired up to entertain the planet with news of my 28yo cat's courageous battle against those goddam tubes the vet says won't help her even though I am paying for his fricking pool."

Into whose invaginated nightmares or bone-crackin' puff of ribs may we best be invited as goobers?
