I'm Tired Of This...

Been a long day but I thought I'd give you a tip...

this is what I consider the most important skill in all of copywriting. If you can master this, you'll be famous.

We all know people buy with emotions...

so why not make your piece emotional?

Before you start to write, decide what emotion you're going to target.

Fear

Anger

Love

Happiness

Sadness

just to name the basics.

You will never ever ever ever be successful until you learn to sell with emotion.

Wrong:

Do your fingers hurt from arthritis.

Do you find yourself not able to do things you use to do?

Right:

Mom, It hurts me to see your hands the way they are today. I remember you were always in the kitchen...

The second part of writing with emotion is to always lead your reader to a happy outcome:

Fear - Happiness

Anger - Solitude

If there's one single thing you can do to increase your skills as a copywriter, it's to learn how to write with emotion.

There is no single skill that will increase your earning potential more than learning how to write with emotion.

Now, here's the next part...

if you decide on an emotion and it doesn't seem to be working...

go back and hit your piece from another emotion.

You may be starting out with fear, when actually you should be starting out with anger...or love...or greed...

Once you learn how to write with emotion, you'll be able to look at most copy and see right away where the problems are.

You'll be able to create headlines easier. The headline gets the attention, but the rest of the copy gets the sales.

Writing with emotion will make you wealthy beyond your wildest imagination.

Study it and use it.
