COPY WRITING

As somebody who is relatively new to the copywriter's section (I usually
hang out with the marketers and the OT addicts) I just want to say, I think
you guys are the bees knees.

I love reading some of the sales letters you guys have done and I have
learned a lot from many of you.

I am looking forward to a prosperous New Year doing a little bit of everything
as I decided to come out of my self imposed retirement of 2009 (got bored
to death) after recording 4 brand new CDs of original music, many of the
tunes you can hear up at YouTube.

Anyway, this is my official "I've come to hang out with you literary
virtuosos" post.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Well then let it be known that I will be glancing through from time to time. Do I need to announce each time I enter this area, or is a one time, initial announcement the proper protocol?

You also need to remove your shoes for inspection, and no toothpaste or bottled water is allowed inside the Copywriting Forum.

Sorry for hijacking the thread Steven - I also think I need to make a public notice of my intention to hang out in here too . . .

To comply with the rules, I am wearing a flak jacket and my shoes are by the front door. But I DO NOT wear hairy baskets on my knees as I don't need the baskets . . .

Steve - buckle up and pls replace that 'article marketing whiz' logo with something more fitting - you're not in cattle class anymore.

And should Pursar J. Taylor cry "brace for impact", get ready for a full digital cavity inspection. Some of the frequent flayers get a wee bit unruly.

  It's called discipline and scheduling.
  
  And being a speed demon doesn't hurt either. I can put together:

  1 7 part autoresponder series
  
  And get it all loaded online setup with DLGuard and get an email to my
  list all in one day.
  
  Added to my regular routine of posting, advertising, answering emails
  or whatever...and still find time to hit the recording studio and start
  laying down some tracks.
  
  I don't have a "solution in a box" secret to how to do this. It's kind of
  like trying to clone Michael Jordan and send the clones to each NBA
  franchise. It doesn't work that way.
  
  Basically it comes down to how determined you are to do what you have
  to do and get it done quickly.
  
  Very little of that has to do with smarts.
