The Cliche Copy Catastrophe

"Stress" and "tension" seem to be a popular concern here in the copywriting sub-forum at the moment, so let's have a little fun.

We've all seen copy that just oozes with the same ol' list of exhausted words. Granted some words are used frequently for good reason. But some are just trying too hard. And some words jsut aren't as preferred or productive as others (ie. discover vs learn). I've seen a few so far in my pursuit of knowledge, learning the art of writing good copy (Makepeace arrives tomorrow ).

So, on with the fun, shall we? Perhaps this can also educate as well, if it takes off. Sort of a blueprint for what not to do, if you will. Feel free to add as much onto it in your response as you'd like. Then the next person will pick up from the previous response. Let loose.

First post gets dibs on the product and/or headline. I'm drawing a blank at the moment for something funny/good. I was going to use the whole "cash sucking" bit for a headline, but I'm sure someone can start us off better than that.

Obviously not written by a copy writer - but hey - it was fun...
