hey ya'll....

Tying to get some swipes and new ideas for video sales letters selling high ticket items ($200 and up) ... you know... the ones with no player etc.

Which ones did you like? which ones made you buy?

    most of these videos are custom, and made in fla format.... (not youtube copy and paste)

    ofcourse, you still need to target your audience for each niche...... Get a wannabe spokes person from CL, or get a powerpoint slide show going......

      The Video Boss sales video (naturally) was totally kick butt...

      Some home business video sales letters would be: The Seven Figure Mastermind System by Jonathan Budd and Daegan Smith's Maximum Leverage.

      I'm using both of theirs as a swipe for the sales video I'm creating right now.

      Other ones I've looked at are all cb products (traffic ultimatum, etc..) But I can't say I've really seen any 'amazing' ones so far.

      I'd suggest checking out jvnotifypro.com also for a list of upcoming JVs. What I do (which I'm probably not supposed to, but f - it..) is go to every page of the launch and save the video to my computer for use as a future swipe.

      (no, i wont give ppl access to this so dont ask..)

      YES, you can still save flash videos to your computer if you know how to mess around w/ the code. Hint: most people host w/ amazon s3, simplecdn (i use that one), or self-host a camtasia video... If you can figure out how to strip the code, you can get the videos to save for future reference.

      I'll try to remember to post more as I find them.

    I also think the e-mail copy I used to frame the mindset of the people
    going to the page played a big part. But I got a lot of great feedback
    on the video too (and didn't do too shabby on sales either )

      Hi all,

      I know people are normally looking for swipes and such, but this is the best I can do for now:

      In Firefox, there is an add-on called "video download helper." If you see a video, no matter where it is or what format, you can capture and download to your own computer EASILY. It's an essential "widget" for me and makes it so I do not need to have their webpage. So if they take it down, I still have the meat of it.

        We have all saved printed material, webpages etc in our SWIPE files.

        The current trend is Video Sales Letters, we will now at times need to refer to "SWIPED" videos without the need of being on the net.

        As Rick mentioned, there is a FREE Forefox plugin Rick called Video Downloadhelper and is available from downloadhelper_net.

        Since I installed it a month ago I am running out of disc space!!! ;-)

          I use realplayer. It has a pluggin for your browser and then let's you download pretty much anything that even some recorders won't.
