An interesting tool. One of my niche headlines scored 36.84% EMV.
They give most professional copywriter's EMV score at 30%-40% so I was very happy with that.

Will have to work on another though with a lower score. Pity the tool can't come up with ways of improving the score. That was put the icing on the cake!

It can if you use it enough, you get to learn what works and what does not, use at your own will and not to heart as mentioned. To get longer sentences / wording break it down into smaller sections then join them afterwords.

effective marketing smarter results Leave opposition quietly speechless
run my current sig and see what you get as an example.

Decent tool for plugging in emotion-driven words but be careful with it- you can plug in headlines that don't make much sense and they get high scores-try it yourself.

Just a caveat- still helpful though.

That tool doesn't know your product. Or your target market. Or how your headline is supposed to effect the reader...

    Is it curiosity?

Is it going to teach them something for reading further?

That tool has zero knowledge of you, your prospects, your relationship with your prospects, your product or your market.

It's fun to play with. Beyond that, I wouldn't put too much stock into what it says...

TIP: Try running some known winning headlines through it and watch it smack 'em down with a terrible score. For example, Victor Schwab's famous "100 Good Advertising Headlines... And Why They Were So Profitable" is a famous ad that generated tons of business for his agency, the tool gives it a 10% EMV.

You can also get scores of over 100% ...combined with common sense it can help you turn out some pretty good headlines. Just remember, it's a tool, not a crutch.

    Hi,
I agree with Scott too. It's just analyzing words not content. I got a 35% rating with this headline-lol.
